Stirhits is a small workshop for software. We build the tools we wanted to exist, run them on our own hardware, and keep the moving parts simple enough to understand. Every app here is one we use ourselves.
That shapes what the apps do and what they do not. There is no advertising, no third-party tracking, and nothing sold on. Apps are bought once rather than rented by the month, and each one comes with a plain-English privacy policy that says exactly what it stores.
Status App lets your friends and family know when you are free or busy without a message, a call, or a read receipt. Set one of six statuses in a tap — awake, sleeping, busy, away, driving, or offline — give it a timer if you want it to clear itself, and the contacts you have approved see it change.
It is a one-time purchase on Google Play, with an iOS version in the works. It does not collect your location, your contacts, or your photos, and your status is never public. Details on the Status App page, or in the privacy policy.
