Status App shares only what you choose with the people you approve. Your status is never public, and it is never sold. There is no advertising in the app and no third-party analytics or tracking SDKs.

No. Status App never reads your address book. You add people by sending and accepting requests inside the app, so nothing is uploaded from your phone.
A timed status counts itself down and clears on its own when the time is up, so you never leave a stale “busy” sitting there. Your contacts can also see when you are expected back.

Removing a contact takes effect immediately and permanently, in both directions. They stop receiving your status and you stop receiving theirs. Incoming requests can also be blocked outright rather than accepted.
You can request deletion of your account and all its data at any time, free of charge. Follow the steps on the account deletion page or email support@stirhits.com. Deletion is permanent and is completed within 30 days of a verified request.
